Povilon Surgical Scrub (Containing %4 Chlorhexidine Gluconate) Antiseptic, Non-Sterile Surgical Scrub

%4 Chlorhexidine Gluconate is a powerful antiseptic that provides a lasting antimicrobial effect against various microorganisms. The product does not contain dyes or colorants.
WARNING:
Use with caution in premature infants and infants younger than 2 months
May cause irritation or chemical burns

Surgical Hand Washing (Scrub)

1. Hands and forearms are wetted with water
2. With about 5 mL Povilon Scrub and wet sponge, scrub for 3 minutes, including nails, cuticles and between fingers
3. Nail cleaner can be used if necessary
4. Rinse with plenty of water
5. Wash again in the same way with another 5 mL of product for 3 minutes, rinse and dry thoroughly

Health Personnel Hand Washing

1. Wet hands with water
2. Approximately 5 mL of Povilon Scrub is taken into the palm
3. Wash hands by vigorously rubbing for at least 15 seconds
4. Rinse and dry

Preoperative Skin Preparation

1. The surgical field is liberally covered with product
2. It is applied by rubbing with the help of sterile gauze for at least 2 minutes
3. Dry with a sterile towel
4. Repeat the same process one more time and dry the area again

Skin Wound and General Skin Cleansing

1. Rinse the area to be cleaned thoroughly with water
2. Apply a small amount of product to cover the wound or skin surface
3. Gently washed
4. Rinse again with plenty of water
