Povilon Surgical Scrub (Containing 4% Chlorhexidine Gluconate) – Antiseptic, Non-Sterile Surgical Scrub

● Cleansing of skin wounds and general skin surfaces
4% Chlorhexidine Gluconate is a powerful antiseptic that provides lasting antimicrobial activity against a variety of microorganisms. The product does not contain dyes or colorants.
WARNING:
● Use with caution in premature babies and infants under 2 months of age.
● May cause irritation or chemical burns.
Surgical Hand Scrub
1. Wet your hands and forearms with water.
2. Apply approximately 5 mL of Povilon Scrub and a wet sponge, scrubbing for 3 minutes, including the nails, cuticles, and areas between the fingers.
3. Nail cleanser can be used if necessary.
4. Rinse with plenty of water.
5. Wash again with another 5 mL of product for 3 minutes, rinse, and dry thoroughly.
Healthcare Personnel Hand Washing
1. Wet your hands with water.
2. Apply approximately 5 mL of Povilon Scrub to your palm.
3. Wash your hands by rubbing them vigorously for at least 15 seconds.
4. Rinse and dry.
Preoperative Skin Preparation
1. The surgical area is generously covered with the product.
2. The product is applied by rubbing with a sterile gauze for at least 2 minutes.
3. The product is dried with a sterile towel.
4. The same process is repeated once more, and the area is dried again.
Skin Wound and General Skin Cleaning
1. Rinse the area to be cleaned thoroughly with water.
2. Apply a small amount of product, enough to cover the wound or skin surface.
3. Wash gently.
4. Rinse thoroughly with water again.
